Having online play and downloadable content would be what would disappoint me in a DQ game. Sad

There are certain queer times and occasions in this strange mixed affair we call life when a man takes this whole universe for a vast practical joke, though the wit thereof he but dimly discerns, and more than suspects that the joke is at nobody's expense but his own.

no rpgs at all?  what about Fire Emblem?

i like this move, since DQ bases its graphics off of hand-drawn models, i cant imagine the 360 or PS3 improving the look of DQ VIII very much

I loved the original Fire Emblem but passed over the others. I'm sure I'd like the others, particularly 9, but I would much rather play 9 before 10 and I can't find 9 anywhere.

Do you really need DLC for a DQ game? There wasn't any for DQ8 but that didn't prevent people from loving that game. Nor was there online play.
Of course I don't need DLC for any game. But is anyone going to refuse an extra quest or two? I'd pay $5 for another 10-20 hours of play.

For me i dont think DLC will last 10-20 hours though maybe 5 hours seem to be possible like what oblivion did with the knight of the nine.
