XD

It was a high of I think 61F yesterday, and by 10PM it was like 27F. 30F now with a 17F wind chill. Pretty windy, gusts up to about 30mph.

It was -6*C in the car on the way home tonight. I think that's the coldest I've personally seen in this country. Obviously it's been colder, but I haven't seen it.

Are you in the UK or New Zealand, James?

Because -6°C doesn't seem cold at all for the UK. It's been colder than that in Belgium (that I remember myself) and they're so close together there's barely a difference. The UK should be colder, actually.

In the UK. As I said, it's obviously been colder but I haven't experienced it here. I think, apart from being up a skiing mountain, the coldest I've been in was -10*C in Paris. The weather reports have been saying parts of the UK are currently -10*C. It's -2*C where I am, and it's just started snowing.

34 but it's snowing and has been all day. Not sticking to the roads yet, but there's probably a good quarter inch on the lawns.

Ah, then the UK is warmer than I thought. The last couple of days it's been -5°C during the day here and -12°C during the night.

I thought it was bad how a couple of inches of snow brings this country to a stop. There's a news item on BBC about how the chilly weather is causing havoc. Roll Eyes

Apparently it's the coldest winter in the UK since 1996.

Yeah, it's hilarious what a teeny bit of snow does. It's even more funny when you realise a day of snow happens atleast once a year in Belgium, yet people still act like it's the first time they see it. Tongue

I'm not sure about the coldest winter in Belgium, but two days ago was the coldest day since a day in 1997.
