no I know this probably ain't my place to say something, and I'm very sorry. I know I've only been a member the last few days, but the time before, I remember being a guest on this site and i used to read his posts(Michael's). I never knew the guy....which is why I'm afraid some people might get mad and say this isn't my responsibility to talk. But with everything in me I just want to make sure you recognize him since his birthday is today. Like i said before, I never knew him. But lately since I've read the on-site memorial and the Tragic News thread I got sick to my stomach. I just want to say I have been praying for his family everyday since I read up it. I hope everyone on this site has read about him. Even if they're new (like me) they should know about him. I'm truly sorry about bringing up this topic, because I know how close some of you were to him. I don't know your religion but my God (Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the end) would want you to remember him.

Thanks for the post and welcome to the site.

Don't feel bad for bringing up Mike's birthday.  One of Mike's mottos when we were creating the site was that "no one be forgotten", and those words have taken on even more importance since his passing.  We definaltely have not forgotten Mike and what he meant to both the RFGen community and what he meant to those of us who knew him personally.  It's goes to show how special he was when someone new to the site like you can get a sense of how special he was just by reading through the posts.  If you haven't checked out the site memorial under the about menu at the top, please do so.  The page will show random thoughts about Mike from board members at the bottom of the page.  We are always accepting new comments to add into the mix if anyone wants to contribute.
