So i bought a "GBA SP" charger on tuesday.  I opened the package and inside was a charger for a random Sony product.  Seller won't respond to messages.

I've been surprised by how well the eBay folks handle bad sellers.  Every time I've talked to their people it's been exceptional.  Can Dell or AT&T say that?  Retro, if you need a GBA SP charger, I know a guy - Me.

I blindly and drunkily bought this this week:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/26....m1497.l2649#ht_500wt_853

I'm a big kirby fan, and I really hope I won something cool, but for now, I'm considering myself an idiot, at least until I see what's really in that box.

looks like an official digital press ebay seller, if that's what it is then i'd say they're probably trustworthy. good feedback percentage and ratings too.

We'll never know what was in that box, they lost it. They couldn't find it and refunded me.

I had to post this auction due to the description alone.  This seems like a good deal if someone wants to start collecting Odyssey 2 games, although the boxes aren't in great shape.
The description is as follows:
Product Description
This yellow Magnavox Odyssey 300 is potent and loud, and it is a good choice for meeting the requirements of all kinds of gamers. This Magnavox video game system is attractive and unobtrusive, allowing you to play with it any place you need such as a play room, dorm, or family room. Since this video game system comes with specialized graphics memory, you will be able to relish vibrant visuals. Each and every game session is realistic and electrifying using the fast processor included with the Magnavox Odyssey 300. This Magnavox video game system is a complete gaming platform, so you can acquire a multitude of conquest, fighting, and pinball game titles. With the audio connector featured on this video game system, you can hear the exceptional sonic landscapes on your sound system. With the precise and ergonomic game controls featured on the Magnavox Odyssey 300, you can fire upon intruders and run circles around the competition for hours. With the generous console memory included on this Magnavox video game system, you can benefit from improved gaming experiences. Maintain your saved game statuses with the ample storage capacity included with this video game system.

This dude that wrote this should be in marketing or something.  Here's the link.

^ I agree. That is a good deal depending on shipping. Of note, there is the power supply and rf box, things easy to substitute for but spendy if you buy them by themselves.

There is even a variation of KC Munchkin I don't have in that lot.

Wempster is right, this is a good start if you want to join the cool kids club    Cheesy

Great description but it's a description of an Odyssey 300 (their Pong console that was yellow as mentioned) not a description of an Odyssey 2.  Makes me think this seller plagiarized it thinking it described their item.

Edit: Reading it further it seem a bit of a hybrid description, very strange.

Edit 2: Looks like this is the standard ebay product description for the Odyssey 300 but it's very accurate for that system when it talks about "acquire a multitude of .... titles".  The guy selling the Odyssey 2 must have selected the wrong product when he setup his listing.

I just won this lot.  Now all I gotta do is repair em, and I am thinking about modding one or two of them.

When they are repaired I will post em for trade or sell.

Cheap lot there, hopefully they won't be too difficult to fix.

I have fixed sega genesis before, so hopefully it will be just resoldering and cleaning up the pins. I am hoping the worst of it is that I will need to buy new capacitors and regulators

I just won this, the box isn't in the best shape but I've been watching for a CIB copy for months. I've seen these listed loose for upwards of $40 on some import sites so I feel good about this buy!
