Just came in the mail today. Been finding out what games me and local "competitors" share on want lists, and taking myself out of the equation with Ebay.

Managed to pick up PS2 PAL promo discs for Persona 3 and Persona 4.

This is the first time I have seen a promo for Persona 3, and second time for Persona 4 since I started 18mnths ago. Paid a reasonable price for them (which wasn't so reasonable after two sets of postage

-I needed an SGB because I gave my old one to a friend who wanted one and isn't really a collector
-It was only $7 shipped from Japan, half the price my local shop wants for a US SGB
-My SNES has the tabs removed
-No reason to pick this other than it's different

Paid full value for this guy, but felt it needed to be acquired for my Turbografix/TurboCD library:

I kinda feel like a jerk for taking advantage of a listing error but realistically, it was going to be someone that won it and it may as well be me. The seller had Harmony of Dissonance listed seperately using this same picture so I rolled the dice that it was Tales because it would have been a great price either way. The seller contacted me the next day to clarify what I was bidding on and it turned out that it was Tales. Haven't got it in the mail yet though but I do have a tracking number so...

Either would've been a worthy purchase. Congrats.

Now we can settle the debate about the pronunciation of "Ys".

That damn Sega Master System port of the first game! The spelling on the cart was the first thing I noticed about my copy.

If there was any doubt, The Ys I & II, for Turbo CD, has the spoken intro for the game. The narrator definitely pronounces it "Eees". says it 3 times too. I always pronounced it "wise" and thought it was a clever play on words.

Haven't checked eBay in ages since i have no monies for games.
For some reason i checked today and saw this with ~2 hours left decided it was fate and pulled the trigger.
Guess i should try and sell some more stuff myself soon...
