the one without the -1 in the model # is supposed to be bundled with the system? apparently that's what i have, no -1 on mine.

Aww and now I see that. Mind = blown. It *was* enough to get the early cart variant until you brought that up.
My search will continue for the appropriate cart then.

Wait, I think that's backwards. I think it's the -1 for the System Variant. I used to have an extensive write-up on all the Super Mario World manual variants and game variants before the site went down.

also if it is the one with no -1 that you need i could offer you mine if you want, i have another copy that i was planning on selling anyway. i'm in canada though so shipping might be a bit rough (up to $10 sometimes).
lets wait for shadow's response though in case the one you have is actually right, he seems to be the god of variants XD.

Well, you guys were right. I was thinking of another pack-in title for the SNES, likely Link to the Past.
-USA for the pack-in
-USA-1 for the boxed release

I'll run across one locally eventually. I'm not in a hurry to collect really. But thank you all for the information!

Picture? That's a guide I've never seen, and it would be awesome to own a guide for a technically unreleased game.

exactly why I wanted it!

...I definitely like the idea of collecting available DC guides to go along with the games, but this one seemed a top-priority collectible to me.

Seems like it's not that hard to obtain. Nice!
I really need to take pictures of my guide collection, but it's all in boxes right now. One of these days, I'll finally get everything unpacked. I'd venture to say that I own approximately 50 DC guides.

that's awesome Shadow! I'm kind of just grabbing DC guides if I stumble over them cheaply for now. I only went out of my way for Half-Life due to the novelty. I have a HOTD2 guide coming to me as well.

Got this last week. Acquired a Sega CDX off of Ebay. Been looking for something along these lines for awhile. Came with two branded 6-button controllers and a handful of common games. Thing's in perfect condition. Looking around the last month or so, a lot of the CDXs or X-Eyes on ebay have had issues with dead disk drives.

On Monday I
hastily
bought this because of what I saw as a very low BIN, before
carefully
reading the description.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/B...;orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
It showed up today. To my delightful surprise the disc is fine and it plays fine in my PS2.
