I agree with a lot of this list but there's obviously tons of other great video game themes. Which ones do think should have made the list?

Although hard to pinpoint which to include I believe that at least one Castlvania should have been mentioned.

I always loved the Max Payne II theme, but probably too new for anyone to really appreciate.

Can't believe Mario Bros. is so low on the list.  Should be at least top 3
And DuckTales?Huh??  I find it hard to believe that there are that many people that have played it, to know (and rank it so high) that it has a great sound track.

Anyway love the song at the end with the credits running.  I only have two words for it.  " Daniel Son"  LOL Smiley

That Moon level is quite known for its music, really. nod

Perhaps RF Gen should come up with their own top 10 themes, as I'm sure a lot of people didn't agree with this one.

The one that really shocked me was the fact that the tetris theme wasn't in there.

That's not really a video game exclusive song though. Tongue

Yeah well, the problem is that when there are hundreds, maybe thousands of fantastic video game songs, they had to restrict themselves to 10. You can't expect to please everyone with only 10 songs, I'm sure you couldn't even please most people with a list of 20 songs.

I know, and they were sure to stress that point early on, but I still think we could all come up with a really good one.

You're almost forced to stress it severely when making a list like that. Otherwise you'd get snowed in with angry comments of...everybody saying their favorite game/theme didn't make it. Wink

Saw this on Digg earlier.

Sure are a lot of obscure choices.
