I went over to Herefordshire today. On the way there is a road along a hill above Gloucester which usually only has an "ok" view because it is always so hazy. It was very clear today, so we pulled over into a viewing area.
This first photo is of the view but with a polariser turned so that it has no effect. The second photo is with the polariser turned so it does its job.

Then I took a series of photos to stitch into a panorama. I had to make it a little bit under half size, then compress the quality a lot to get it under 1MB for Photobucket, but it's still a good size.
