No it won't.

Indeed: no it won't. Wink

It's always the people who understand the least of things like this, that spend most time spreading stupid rumors that aren't based on anything decent.

It's human nature. If we don't understand something, we make up something so we get the fake idea we do understand. (Just look at religion)

I've had a grudge against particle accelerators since I went to the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory after I broke my leg. It was on a physics class school trip. I took ages to hoble up a stairway on the side of the pipe thing, then by the time I got to the top, everyone was going back down. Sad I had to go bloody miles along corridors, up and down stairs, and across the site on crutches. The school didn't want to get me a wheelchair, and the hospital didn't loan them out for broken legs, or something like that. Science experiments should cater for cripples more. Angry

A bit silly, but I thought it was funny. Especially the one police officer with his/her hands in his/her hair. It's almost like (s)he's thinking "Oh no, we really messed it up this time." Tongue

Nice pictures.

It's cool how the eruptions get bigger and bigger with every photo saying "X-th in a series of undersea volcano eruption photos off the coast of Tonga."

I think it was all the same eruption, they were just getting closer and closer to it in the progression.

I went over to Herefordshire today. On the way there is a road along a hill above Gloucester which usually only has an "ok" view because it is always so hazy. It was very clear today, so we pulled over into a viewing area.

This first photo is of the view but with a polariser turned so that it has no effect. The second photo is with the polariser turned so it does its job.

Then I took a series of photos to stitch into a panorama. I had to make it a little bit under half size, then compress the quality a lot to get it under 1MB for Photobucket, but it's still a good size. Smiley (Hopefully clicking the image below will take you to the full size one.)

The other day I was sat in the car after work waiting for mum to finish and I noticed the mileage on the Peugeot.   slick
Of course, being the nerd that I am, I got a photo.

Nice pictures, James! Smiley

The panorama looks really nice, it reminds me of the ones you took of Wellington, last year. Smiley

I'd probably take a photo of that mileage too, if I noticed it with a camera nearby. Tongue
