Or this
Quote
The Keith .45 Colt 260 grain bullet #454424 could be used by crimping over the front band in AR brass and 7.0 grains of Unique gave a satisfying 900 + feet per second with six shots going into one and three-eighths inches. Note that all of these loads eclipse the long standard factory loading of the .45 Colt/255 grain bullet by 50-150 feet per second. That makes the 625-2 .45 AR into a viable close range hunting handgun for deer and black bear, as well as an action shooting/defensive sixgun.

I believe (I may be wrong) that the Desert Eagle is the most powerful hand gun made right now.  The only one that comes close to it is the Magnum, but revolvers suck.

I can't find anything about this handgun recently. I think they might have scraped it. I remember hearing people saying it was unnessacary.
But it had a 81/2 inch barrel
weighed 4 1/2 pounds
and had over 2 times the muzzle velocity of Dirty Harry's Colt .45

That is some of the stuf i fond about it today. There were alot more specific figures but what i remember originally hearing was that it was strong enough to "take down a charging grizzly"

I also saw a 6 gauge shotgun a few years back(2002 maybe?). It is actually illegal and was used to hunt ducks. It looked like fireworks were getting shot out of the end of it. It was relatively amazing.

The desert eagle is pretty damn powerful, but I don't know if it is the most powerful.

Used to hunt ducks!
I wasn't aware such firepower was needed to kill such a bird.
There wouldn't be any duck left after that.
