(AGP was an old graphics interface. It was replaced by PCI-E. The connections/slots are different sizes. Electronics have an awful habit of not working when connections are cut off.)

You know what the worst of it is? That particular POS Dell model didn't even have an AGP slot. So he must have tried to cram it into a regular PCI slot instead! A shame too, one of those cards is worth 3 of that desktop because it may be a 3 year old card but he wasted it on a 7 year old desktop.

I looked for that particular Dell model in Google Images and guess what one of the first pictures I come across is:

And that's why nobody should do computerwork like that unless they really know what they're doing.

And those classic/historic ships look so cool. It's fantastic that there are still some of those ships in good enough condition to sail.
