Snow coming down in my front yard earlier today.  It's still falling heavily.  Supposedly we'll have 14-16 inches by the time it stops tomorrow.  I'm starting to get stir crazy in this house.

Looks great in the picture.
I would hate to have to deal with it in real life though.

Yeah, take note how my driveway is not visible in that photo, when it should go from the bottom left corner to the break in the trees, all the way down the hill.  Right now, ice is coming down.  Then more snow apparently.  If it stops at all tomorrow, I'd like to go out to some local parks to take some photos.  That one was just from my front porch.

I can't go anywhere today.  We have seventeen or so inches out there right now, and Hamilton County is under a level 3 snow emergency.  That means it's illegal for me to drive anywhere unless it is an absolute emergency.  I don't mind driving in snow, but it kind of sucks that I'm legally not allowed to.

I guess it could be worse.  Just across the border in Indiana, they had to lift people out of I-60 in helicopters because they got stranded - including an entire Greyhound bus full of people.

I wanted to get a slightly wider shot for this photo, but to do so I would have had to step in about two feet of snow, so I opted out for this.  It's my car.  Took me a long, long time to dig it out, especially since the top was actually a layer of ice.
