What surprises me is the number of CRTs in that shot.

That, and in the very bottom row, second from the left is a person that seems to have a very awkward arm.  (Yeah, I know it's just an artifact of the picture being taken in a very low-light environment, but it still looks freaky.)

For competitive gaming CRTs are still king. Generally faster response times and the contrast levels for black/dark games are much better than most LCDs.

Yeah I know they are better.  I wasn't surprised that they were there.  I was surprised by the number of people that have them in that shot.  It looks like its over half.  I would have figured only the hardcore players would have had CRTs.

I took some photos of a rose in our garden the other day:

Then yesterday I went to my gran's where a rose was blown over in the wind, so I brought it inside and took some photos of it.

I really like the red one. It's like a classic romantic rose.

Those roses are very beautiful. I've never seen a rose like the one in the garden, too.

I don't usually like pictures of flowers, but I really love that first and last one. You should probably start putting watermarks on your pictures so people don't steal them laugh

James, which lens did you use to take those pictures?  Do you have a macro lens?

I used the 28-135mm IS. The outside rose was taken on a tripod at around 1/500 and the red one was taken handheld at about 1/10. I didn't have my tripod handy for the indoor shot.

I took this photo of my Agent 47 figure today.

It's actually two photos. I took one with a dark background and no flash, and one with a white background using flash. Then I blended them, and used the dodge tool to lighten the face a bit.

It's very hard to take a decent picture of the moon...
Of course, I'm too lazy to get the tripod out of the car.
