I think they like the media circus that goes with it, or at least some of them do. It seems less about the policies and more about the people.
Yeah. And it gets shown like that by the media aswell. Despite me watching CNN regulary (the only "US" channel we have in Beligum) I only vaguely know what Obama stands for (
change! ) and have no clue what Mccain stands for. He's for the war, that's all I know.
Becoming the next president involves only a couple of things:
1. Having alot of relationships that can feed you millions of dollars to fuel your campaign.
2. Whether you're a "democrat" or "republican". Which of the 2 is best comes down to how many catastrophies has happened during the last administration. (In case of
alot of catastrophies it's best you're of the other party in the next election)
3. The way you look like.
About that third thing: I couldn't believe how there were female Hillary supporters that will actually switch sides and vote for Mccain
just because he choose a woman as his running mate. That's like saying "I don't care about politics at all or what this candidate believes in, I'll vote for a woman no matter what". Sarah Palin could be a genocide supporter, some people would
still vote for her "because she's a woman". Well that's rediculous.
