I thought it would be a long time before I got one of these.  My wife, parents, and in-laws all went in together and got it for my birthday.

You're especially lucky you got the MGS4 combo. I believe those are the last PS3 models that can play PS2 games.

Awesome! Cheesy You know you're lucky to have a wife, parents and in-laws to be that cool about gaming that they'd actually get you a PS3 for your birthday! Shocked

Thanks guys, Well I LOVE it, so far.  And forgot to include in the picture an extra Dualshock 3 controller.

My friend at work just gave me an HDMI cable for FREE so I am going to hook that up tonight. Along with a digital Optical audio cable to my Home theater system.  So I will be doing some serious gaming tonight!!!!!!!!!!!

And yes I am very lucky to have such a cool family.

OH by the way I am 30.
