Mixing cart and boxes from different versions don't make a new entry

http://www.rfgeneration.c...nfo.pl?ID=E-027-S-01044-A

cart is the french E-027-S-01042-A and box the uk is E-027-S-01044-B

Please remove

Actually the UK had many games released with FRA carts and UKV boxes and manuals. The carts however have EAI on the back (England, Australia, Italy) and pal A lockout chips inside. So they are not the same as the French carts.

All these variations will have a comment stating this. But I'm adding them all in first and then going back and adding the comments to them all.

There's also a few Italian or Australian games with UKV or GBR on them that weren't released in the UK. Basically it's all a bit messy over here in the Pal territories

If the backs of the carts show are distinct from regular French FRA's, may I suggest submitting a scan of the back as extra media as well?

I did on a couple. But seems a bit pointless when every back showing EAI is the same. Easier to just mention in the overview.

Dind't know that, and yes Euro Pal NES games are a mess. Wouldn't surprise me if there is no difference between Pal-A and Pal-B for late released games. The whole Pal-A and B came from that PAl-A is the Mattel-versions and Pal-B was Nintendo/Bandai/ASD. I think around 1990 Nintendo took over distribution themselves.

They have different lockout chips. I've never heard of them stopping putting the correct lockout chips in in later games. They certainly still have an A or B on the front

Assuming the IDs are in order submitted, I was the first to submit that.

Yep. My bad getting the 2nd added.

I believe they just merge the 2 entries together somehow

Bump once again.

Come on guys. This looks like a pretty clear case of a duplicate to me. Should be pretty simple for someone to merge the 2 or whatever you do
