I'm thinking about trying for a cart only Game Gear collection (Yeah, I don't really know why either). Theres only 264 (?) games for it, and most don't seem to be too expensive.
Anyone know if there are any rare/expensive titles for the system? Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

Sounds like a good idea. They should all be able to get obtained fairly cheaply. I was once making a list of GG games that were not ports of Genesis game, but I was never able to finish. I still only have 6 games for it.

Good luck & if you need any help from the other side of the pond give me a shout. I am trying for a full boxed set of GG games. I curently stand at :
PAL---- Need 19 out of 199
US ---- Need 37 out of 77
Japanese ---- Need 58 out of 110
That would give me 1 of all the releases

Excluding rumored releases and reprints,
250 or so
give or take. I think he meant that 77 were exclusive to North America.

Yep, sorry should have made that clear. There where 77 games released in the US that never received a European release.

As far as I know. There is nothing that will be hard to obtain, or cost over 15-20 bucks.

i have seen some ridiculous priced games before like Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya. I do know of a place that has a game gear with like 10-15 games and the carrying case but the guy wants like $100. I wonder if he still has it.
