For some reason, I was thinking about a game whose title I don't remember. It was an Airline sim that was either on the NES or the Genesis. You started with a rundown airline and a couple of hubs, but the eventual goal was to become the #1 airline in the world.

Does anyone remember the title?

A friend of mine was a big fan of Aerobiz. I remember one time she had a bunch of friend over and they decided to play. I think it took them an hour just to play one turn! It seemed a little ridiculous to me, but I guess they did get distracted easily.

I'm reluctant to pick it up. I remember really enjoying the game back in the day, but now I don't know if it would have the same level of lasting appeal for me. Hmmm. Undecided

Well I've heard that the Genesis version is better. I don't know what the reasons are though.

What are the big differences between regular Aerobiz, and Aerobiz Supersonic? A local shop has Aerobiz for sale, but I'd rather not pick it up if Supersonic is strictly better.

If the price is right, I'd recomend picking it up simply to learn the basics of it.  From what I can tell, supersonic has more options.  Calling it a better game though, I cant realy say.

This is a tough game to find at a decent price. The latest listings on ebay are all BIN or Best Offer, starting around $29.99.  Shocked

It may be awhile before I'm able to pick one up. Undecided

And Aerobiz Supersonic is more rare. It looks like it came out for the SNES only. A sealed copy is tagged at a $149.99 minimum bid.

Yeah, it is a pricey game. There's a loose SNES Aerobiz cart locally that's been at a game store for awhile at $10 or so. It's uncommon and fetches a few bucks when someone that actually wants it finds it. So with that said, you may end up paying that price if you really want it.

Actualy, I do believe it did see a Genesis release as well.  I've been tracking them down for some time but was sadly unable to afford them.  I managed to find a loose copy of the first one for the SNES sometime this year for a rather cheap price but so far, no luck on getting the second.  Atleast, not a domestic release.
