Donkey Kong Country allowed the player to get over 100% completion, didn't it? I bet there were other games that did the same as well. If my assumption is correct, what is the maximum percent complete that you've seen?

I think i remember seeing me having 103% completed, but i could have been thinking of something entirely different.

I think you can have more than 100% in the Crash Bandicoot games, too.

Percentage games are fun and tend to keep you playing more in my opinion. Will have to try and implement such a system in one of my games someday.

Exactly, because it tends to push you a bit further, just so you can get your goal (whether it be 20,30,40,50,60%.....depending on where you are in the game)

This will also be a great addition (% completed) with the Achievement Points (and the like) with today's next-gen systems.

Huh? I was just curious, nothing is going to come of this, and no regular expression was coded as a result of this discussion.
