The PC versions of the GTA games have traditionally been way more awesome than the already excellent console versions. Amazing user mods, crazy multiplayer patched in. I've only played Vice City's, I believe, but I hear San Andreas supports something like 256 players on a server.

Never really was a console guy.   Grew up on PC games for the most part.

That's true. I might get San Andreas on the PC if I see it cheap, just for the better graphics. Don't care too much about the mods, kind of ruins the atmosphere of the game, for me. 256 people on a server is alot but even with that, I'm sure you can find yourself alone in a game as big as SA Tongue

The Black Perl's mother thought that gaming consoles had the mark of the beast during the 90s.

The only bad thing about the PC SA is flying with the keyboard. Good God is it annoying.

But for the rest you like it better than the console version? Or is it not worth getting it if I already have it on the PS2?

Yeah, even though you say you don't care about modding...it's awesome. Plus you can change all the code to make stuff crazy, which is awesome; and I kinda like driving the car with the keyboard.

Although to be honest I wouldn't hrmm...PAY for the PC version or anything, unless it was like $5 or less maybe... pirate

Hmmm, you sparked my interest...think I'll check it out. It's been a while since San Andreas on the PS2 anyway; so it won't feel like I just played it recently.
