I have a chance to get these arcade units. The seller said they are bothin good condition with all working parts. Obviously I would look them over before I buy. My question is he is asking $200 a piece and is this a good price? I will try to haggle but if he won't budge, I might still consider it at those prices. Anyone with any insight on these? It is the standard Street Fighter II and Golden Axe arcade cabs.

Hells yeah that's a good price! I would even go as far to say it's a steal. Buy it! You won't regret it.

I thought so too, I saw one on ebay with about 10 hours left and its at about $120 right now. I figure arcade machines don't get much cheaper though.

For those of you who own arcade units, what questions should i be asking the seller?

First make sure the system powers on and boots properly.  Check for burn in on the screen monitor and make sure controls work correctly.  Then I'd check the cabinet over to make sure there is no serious damage. Check to see if it comes with the keys to the token drawer. Finally if the above is all good ask for a hand loading those bad boys.  I have a few non-working cabs and they weigh a ton.
