i know the 5200 has many design flaws and is often looked upon as a failure but now that i own one i believe that it is actually a pretty good system especially since mine has the VCS adapter. i really like the controllers analogue stick and it is really responsive and wonderful for playing pac man.
i really enjoyed playing pac man on the 5200 especially since none of my controllers have broken yet.
this is probably my favorite console to play pac man on

Awesome haul.  I had a 5200 when I was a kid and I loved it.  Biggest problem were the controllers.  They'd get dirty real easy and I remember my dad always taking them apart and cleaning the connectors with alcohol.  Pac-man was awesome on that system.  By far my favorite game tho was Miner 2049.
