I choosed

Playstation- the fact it is really a SNES 2. In fact this is why the PSX had more games then the Saturn. Not only SNES 2 games was in production there was also PSX games from 1993. The Playstion is the spirit of the SNES. In fact the SNES could hand and is gone on forever if it was possible. It is kinda a love child between Nintendo and SONY only there is no Sony tag on the system.

The X-box is a milestone for American gaming which is still the joke of the century that still echos threw time. Microsoft moved too soon not to give it's system which barely did anything neato to begin with. I mean there is 40 dollar X-boxes at stores and people sell them for 10 dollars. What is even sadder is how the whole underground dev is slow. I mean WTF... nobody is going to arrest you for making a X-box game and there is no Firmware update that is going to lock your system. The X-box needs some illegeal and I mean it pirate and unlicensed support. To hell with the god auwful 360 which I will get to.

Why I did not choose.


The PS2 is kinda lame while it give a good show it was only released to counter the Dreamcast which it did only thanks to the SNES2 I mean PSX....The 3d is okay but only above the N64 in terms of N64 perfection ( which the N64 has the ability to make PS2 and even Dreamcast graphic games  )

The PS3 has too many versions to get.  A collector somewhere is going crazy over the PS3 diffrences. I mean WTF as long as it can display threw RGB or regular Video and even RF it is good.  I will admit full support for past systems sounds cool but I have seen gaming errors on the PS2 and what is even worst is how the firmware updates might give us smoothing which anybody can do with the right software.

The smoothing and all that graphical support could have been done on the PS2  but no and people there is something called a upgrade or hardware modification.

The 360 is a joke. From release they have recalls, the system has the canceled Add-on that dark SEGA did back then. They have a weird warning system which is a joke. I mean come on this is like a cheapest joke I have seen yet. This system is truly the Genesis of today. Extra light and breaks on the first turn on

The X-box is such a annoyance the fact that people just ported there Windows games to the system.

Most of the games are PC FPS to begin with.

Anything else is just what SEGA lost.....which kind of a good thing. Lastly...

The 3D0 and Jaguar had little import support to begin with even far less then the over priced SNK system Neo Geo. You can tell just by looking at the bland games on the systems......NO ARTISTIC VALUE ASIDES COMMERCIAL!!!
How many Commendore games was from Japan or Asia for that matter?

The games released on the X-box and 360 is gimmicky or basically like I mentioned earlier what SEGA lost. Just gimmicks to make people feel better about owning a X-box or 360.

Then Nintendo being towards the kiddies especially during the N64 days forces all the real creativity to side with SONY AKA SNES other creator AKA MSX one of Nintendo's original rivals.

Here is a even suckier one. You had to have X-box live to play PSO and pay SEGA'S bill....hmmm I wonder if it went down in the far-east like that?

The X-box is a walking talking joke with it's Genesis wanna be self...All Hail the SNES2 I mean all hail the SNES.

I went with the PS2 and the Xbox.

PS2 cuz its got a crap ton of games that i absolutely love (mostly Gran Turismo and Stuntman).

Xbox cuz its got the same games that the PS2 has, just 10 times better.

I chose the PS1 and the Xbox. Oddly enough in many ways the Xbox continued for me what the PS1 had peaked at in around 2000. I like my 360 don't get me wrong, but it hasn't hit the same level of excitement and variety I got from my Xbox.

The PS1 was my second console, and the first to get me properly into gaming. I had some good times with it but it's not my favourite.

I had some great times with my PS2. I got one six months after my friend with GTA3 and Smuggler's Run 2. Thursday the 13th of December 2001. I remember it because I had my only ever after school detention on that day, then dad picked me up and we went straight into town to get the console. I was amazed by the depth and life-likeness of GTA3, and the visuals of Smuggler's Run 2. Following that, I got myself some great games for the system and spent many hours playing on the console.

I had some very bad times with the Xbox. It was a decent console, it just has some bad personal associations for me.

I got my Xbox 360 on Friday the 13th of October 2006. The superstitious would think it's guaranteed to break but it's been fine so far. I've probably had more enjoyment from my Xbox 360 than any other console, even the PS2. The achievement system really adds to the games, making me play some of them more than I would have done just to get some extra points.

I may actually have to ask you to Shut Your trap, because I am doing this poll to figure out WHAT THE BEST SYSTEM IS IN THE SITES OPINION!!! NOT YOURS!! I will NOT tolerate someone hijacking every single one of my "THE BEST SYSTEM EVER" polls, and I will not stand for your lies and slander, as well as insulting an admin, know as Tan. Get your facts straight, and don't barge into a poll saying that you don't care what others think, and that the SNES automatically wins. You apparently have no sense of others opinions, or any sense for facts.

The number of bits that a system has refers to how many 1s and 0s the main cpu can handle at one time. The N64 could handle 64 1s & 0s, ETC. The SNES was a 16-bit system, with a 16-bit processor. And the PS3 has waaaay more computing power than the 360.

Rant is over. Now either act a tiny bit civilized, or please act at least kind of nice to people who know what they are talking about, mainly Tan. Thanks!

I thought about voting for the PS2 instead of the PS1 because it has backwards compatibility, but something about cheating and not being able to have and/or eat cake at the same time stayed my hand.

I don't see how it's fair to put Sony against Microsoft already -- you don't put Sega against Nintendo in the same poll.  They should've each had their own thread.

Microsoft have only made two consoles. The polls are a choice of two from the selection. It would be a bit unbalanced to not give Microsoft two votes.

I voted for PS3 though -- because I do have one that is b/c so it pushed it over PS2; I never played a lot of PS1 games so I can't really comment on that.
