i posted some stuff from this guy a while ago but he's lowered prices and added a bunch of new things. a friend is going to get some things from him tomorrow, i'm interested in some of it and don't know much about nes prices. i was also thinking if anyone is interested in anything that i don't want i could pick some stuff up to ship off.
http://www.usedvictoria.com/p/chriswhiteley
edit: don't forget to check page 2
Nothing jumped out as a good deal in there. A few are over priced, but a few are ok if you need all of the games in the 5-7 game lots.
I agree w/ crabby here. There's just nothing that really.............wait a second........wait a second.......is that a silent service manual I see in that manual lot. Quick jump on that.
Just kidding of course. Although that manual lot does have some decent ones in there.
my friend picked up the manual lot and the Styrofoam nes inserts i wanted before (25 for $5). seemed like a decent manual lot, here's a partial list of them below:
NES Play Action Football
Iron Sword Wizards & Warriors II
The Chessmaster
Stealth ATF
To The Earth
Caesars Palace
Silent Service
Al Unser Jr. Turbo Racing
Win, Lose or Draw
Zelda II
Cobra Triangle
The Adventures of Bayou Billy
Bases Loaded
Smash TV
Jack Nicklaus' Greatest 18 Holes of Major Championship Golf
Othello
tengen Gauntlet
Platoon
Wheel of Fortune
NES Open Tournament Golf
NES Control Deck
SNES
Mario Paint
Donkey Kong Country
SNES Mouse
Super Gameboy
Gameboy
Yoshi
Ms. Pac-Man
Link's Awakening
there were also some posters, precautions booklets, and random other things. my friend was keeping 4 of these, i'm keeping about 6 or 7, and i'll probably be making a FS/T thread when i get these from my friend for the rest.

If you get the Styrofoam blocks, I would be interested, but I don't know if shipping to the US would be high.

Bonk 3 is a good one. Depending on the condition you could get anywhere from $75-$100+ for it
Bomberman 93 is probably in the $20-$30 range
Time Cruise maybe $10
Tiger Road around $5
I wish I could make an offer on those first two. Good luck with your deal, let us know how it turns out!
No offense meant Crabmaster, but your prices are a little out to lunch.
Time cruise - $9.95, 30 day listing, has sat un-purchased. After Ebay fees and shipping, he'd be lower than $10 anyway. I was planning to possibly buy it, but $10 seemed high.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/T...0&hash=item2c6bb8afa5
Bomberman 93, I went ahead and sorted them out:
http://videogames.pricech
...man-93#completed-auctions
From VGPC with manual:
$59.99
$60.00
$50.00
$45.00
$50.99
$47.00
$50.00
avg: $51.86
From VGPC without manual:
$28.38
$44.00
$42.00
$35.00
avg: $37.25
The difference in averages is almost exactly $15, so my price estimate was low on that, but still not $20 to $30.
The estimate on Bonk 3 is silly, FYI.
http://videogames.pricech
...enture#completed-auctions
The difference between a manual-less copy and a with manual copy over the last 4 months has had a high difference of 33, and a low difference of 7.

Absolutely none of your links work :/
I think you may be looking at the prices for the import (NTSC-J) versions of the games. Go to Ebay and type in the game name then click on "Sold Listings" NOT "Completed Listings". Make sure you are also looking at the US release and the TG16 release. Its easy to get them mixed up with PCEngine.
Or even use vgpc.com if you prefer. Again just make sure you are looking at listings from the right region.

I am using VGPC! It was copied text, all of these are taken directly from VGPC, I analyzed the ones that were obviously the NTSC version. The PC Engine versions are obviously not in the $60 range for Bomberman 93, and not in the 200 range for Bonk 3.
http://videogames.pricech...man-93#completed-auctions
The $3.26 and $13.99 are clearly the PC Engine ones.
I don't know how you could imagine the PC Engine version of 93 would be in the $40-60 range. Its a $10-15 game, max.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/N...0&hash=item2327cc6bd1
And for Bonk 3.
http://videogames.pricech...enture#completed-auctions
The $59.99 is the one PC engine one. In short, all of my numbers came from US versions only. Clearly, you did not look at VGPC before quoting prices.
Edit: I should note, that the 24 Oct Bomberman 93 actually sold for $45. Also, VGPC did not have this recent manual-less BIN, for $54.99
http://www.ebay.com/itm/B...s&hash=item2ec548ee89
Or this Bonk 3 BIN for $210, increasing the range.

Are you feeling ok? That link you sent for the Bomberman 93' says right in the title the words: "PC-Engine", "Import" and "Japan". We are discussing the NTSC-U TG16 price ranges are we not?
You also have a link to a HU Card only that sold for $55, but you have trouble believing someone would pay $20-$30 for the manual? You do realize that manuals typically sell for 50% of the games price in most cases (that generally applies across all systems with some exceptions). Your own link fits my price range pretty well.
Bonk 3 Hu Card alone has sold for anywhere from $80-$170. Because it was one of the games that came packages without a jewel case the manual tends to go for a bit more in comparison to games that do (one of those exceptions I mentioned above). How is my range of $75-$100+ off?
Your own links show my prices to be pretty darn close so I'm really unsure as to how you are coming up with your prices. I feel like I'm missing something or that we are talking about completely different things.

Are you even reading my posts? I linked to the PC Engine Hu card to demonstrate the PC Engine is a $10-15 game!
Once again, for clarity, from VGPC's and ebay's completed listings:
Bomberman 93 with manual:
$59.99
$60.00
$50.00
$45.00
$50.99
$47.00
$50.00
avg: $51.86
Bomberman 93 without manual:
$28.38
$44.00
$42.00
$35.00
$54.00
avg: $40.68
The average difference between completed listings WITH manual and WITHOUT manual is $11. You can go through, like I did, and click EACH INDIVIDUAL LINK on VGPC and see which had manuals and which didn't. So, no, I don't think that the manual is worth $20-30. I think its worth $11, with some variation. People are paying about $11 more ON AVERAGE to get it with the manual.
Bonk 3 Hu card alone has sold from $150 to $170 in the past 4 months. It has sold, with manual, from $181 to $210. It experienced an absurd price jump past August, which is why it doesn't make sense to go back, otherwise the range gets silly. There are ones that have sold WITH manual for less than WITHOUT manual has sold for recently (One sold WITH MANUAL in June for $127, far less than the $170 WITHOUT manual that sold). I'm not going to suggest the manual is worth negative money, lol. The MAX range there is $60, the minimum range is $11. That is nowhere near $75-100+, they don't even overlap.
The manuals were kept far more often with Turbografx games than NES or SNES, because the cases held them. While yes, the later TTI games did not come with cases, a lot of the manuals were saved, because people would repurpose other turbografx cases, to make matching cases for all of their games. So, the turbografx is more like the PSX, PS2, Genesis, than the Atari, NES, SNES, etc, in regards to manuals.
EDIT: You'll also note, that in VGPC's Bomberman 93 history, there are MORE copies with the manual, than without. That should tell you that the manual isn't as rare as an SNES manual.
