@ Crabmaster:

How old is the iPod?  I find that they drop quite a bit  in terms of resale value after new generations of iPods come out every year.

I'm not sure. I didnt actually buy it. It was given to me by someone but I really hate itunes and wanna see what I can get for it. I dont think its the newest model out right. Im just looking for ballpark figures, nothing specific.

I think you can atleast expect $50 for it, seeing as it's basically just the same as the current iPod (Classic) but with a smaller HD.

Thanks, thats about what they told me at local pawn shops, but they are known for giving pretty crappy deals so I just wanted a second opinion from you guys.

PS- if anyone needs an ipod, its up for trade until I get rid of it.

You know that you can use Winamp with an iPod, right? That's what I used with mine when I had it, because I too hate iTunes.

$45 seems fair although you could probably try and get it to maybe around $30. What was the original price of the GB Micro?

Believe it or not, the GBM was like $100 when it came out, putting it as more expensive than an SP.  But I got mine at Wal Mart for $35 on Black Friday a few years ago Smiley.

Although I absolutely love it, I probably wouldn't spend more than $30-35 to get one, maybe $40 boxed.  Its a neat little handheld though...

But you could also count it as an investment, seeing that only about 2 million were sold worldwide.  I'm predicting that these will end up being quite rare and expensive in the future of collecting.
