For the NEO games, $10-500 each. If he desn't know much about them, offer $12.50 a cart. You might be able to get them lower, especially if they aren't AES carts. If they are MVS, then $2-25 each, offer $5 each.
Would you happen to know which games are closer to the $500 range, i.e. which ones I should definitely buy?

I can probably get them very cheap, yesterday he had a set of the old Lawn Darts in the box and he was telling us about how they go for $100+ on eBay, and ended up just giving them to my dad for $1.

There are LOTS. Any of the King of Fighters games, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Art of Fighting 3: Path of the Warrior, Last Blade, Last Blade 2, Any of the Metal Slug games, Rage of the Dragons, any of the Real Bout Fatal Fury games, Samurai Showdown 3-5, Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer, World Heroes Perfect, Neo Turf Masters, Ninja Master's, Stakes Winner, etc etc.

The fact of the matter is that pretty much is worth buying. Half of the games in the library are worth $100+.

Buy them all, silly!

@Sirgin: There is one game for the AES that fetched (If I remember correctly) over $10000 the last time it was sold. The usual most expensive is about $950. And about people owning them, yes, quite a few of the members on here own them. Off the top of my head, Ghost Soldier and Marriot_Guy.

http://www.neo-geo.com/guides/aesguide.html - This is a really good guide for American/European & Japanese AES Games. Hopefully this can give you an idea NES_Rules. It's quite short really, so you could even print it out! laugh

Are GC modems really worth this much?

If so, I might sell mine off...

Sounds like AES too. Hopefully they are some good ones and actually work.

Well i picked up that TE yesterday, finally had some time to play around with it. Sound is deadly low as stated before and it smells like smoke. Good thing for baby wipes. I am using my psp headphones on so i can hear it.

Does anyone know how much the DS Lite Web Browser goes for?  There is a brand new one at Wal Mart for $30, and I'm thinking about picking it up.

It plugs into one of the cartridge slots and gives an Opera web browser over WiFi.

$30 sounds ok for a new one. Just be aware you need to use either unencrypted or WEP WiFi, although if you play online with it you'll be aware of that anyway. Smiley

If you want it to actually use, be aware it is a really really crappy web browser. I know of one copy that has been passed between a handful of people for free, each person pawning it off on the next unsuspecting sucker.

If you want it for collection purposes, it's interesting to own because it's a non-gaming application for the DS, it includes a ram expansion that goes in the GBA slot, and I'm pretty sure it's DS Lite only.

If you want it for resale purposes, for an item that is still on store shelves, it seems to be going for more than retail on eBay. Unfortunately eBay is a bad place to judge the actual "going rate", because games and software like this often go for significantly more if it's an item that is not available in certain countries, and the seller ships internationally.

My dad has it, and yeah, its garbage.  Its way too slow.  I was planning on keeping it for my collection b/c its one of those odd apps for the DS.

I believe they also sold an original DS version, but at nintendo.com only Sad.

I'd do that if I were you. It's still a neat little thing to have.
