Hands down, rarest thing I've come across out there in the wide wide world was my big TurboGrafx-16 find.

TG16, TurboBooster, TurboTap, 3 controllers, TurboExpress w/ TV tuner, and 9 games... for $10. Smiley

Of course, if we're talking single items, reducing that to just the TurboExpress or something still makes it my rarest find.

Of course... Rub it in my face. Smiley

You sir are indeed very lucky.

Eh, it's my job to rub it in other people's faces.  I'm proud of my find.  Tongue

I found a complete in the box Earthbound with 2 sealed n64 games and 3 sealed primal rage for sega genesis games and a bunch of other randoms.  The box of games was only 10$ and the best find I have found in a while.

A few weeks later I bought a sega genesis for 10$ and it came with a complete toe jam and earl and 10 or 15 other games.  I had a good month

And that ladies and gentlemen is why i love garage sales.....
Best find of mine-My Sears Video Arcade (Atari 2600) found it in a box next to somebodies trash in my grandparents neighborhood years ago- came with the system,2 joysticks,1 paddle controller (2 pads one hook up),1 Racing Controller (same as the paddle controller, and one weird joystick/twist stick/button combo controller thingy, and 20+games. Free and it worked first try, worked perfect after a good cleaning

A few years ago, I found Shining Force CD at a Book & Music Exchange. My first thoughts were "hoo boy, this is going to be expensive". I was preparing for sticker shock when I flipped it over, but I saw 4.95. I could barely contain my happiness as I took this up to the counter, but I expected them to pull something, like "no, this is actually $74.95. the sticker is just really old. Look, here's the 7." or something like that.

But it was honoured, and I walked out of Book & Music Exchange with a $5 Shining Force CD, complete - in very good condition, even with that little foam block that secures the disc.

Being without a Sega CD, I had to test it on my computer, and it worked great. A week later, I sent it off  as part of a trade for Panzer Dragoon Saga. Today, this gentleman is my fiancé. Funny how things work out. ^_^

Shining Force CD - $5
Priority Mail Shipping to California - another $5
having Shining Force CD come back attached to a wonderful guy - priceless Smiley
