Let me see... My rarest find could be my boxed Atari Jaguar (Cybermorph bundle).

At my local  thrift store they had Beat 'Em and Eat 'Em and Custer's Revenge in the little red colored Mystique cases they couldn't sell them due to adult content so they gave them to me

Are you kidding me?  They just gave them to you?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

yes ... they said they were going to throw them away if I didn't ... the store is a Christian-run resale store and they weren't going to sell it because of Adult content ... and I'm really good friends with the owner.

the image isn't really good I just took them with a tablet.

It's not MUSHA for $1, but I was happy to find a Dragon Fighter at a Flea Market for $20.

CIB Illusion of Gaia a long time ago for 20 bucks.

Too bad my parents threw away everything but the dang game.

The rarest in the wild find that I've had is probably a three way tie between my: Sharp NES TV (for $50), Bubble Bobble part 2 (a good friend gave it to me, he found it for $2), and Aero Fighters (in a lot for $70). I've had a few other good finds but I think those are the rarest.

My rarest find actually happened just two months ago. I don't even remember why, but I was headed out to a city that I don't go to very often as it's out of my way. I didn't intend to stop at the local game exchange store on the way home but as I was passing it I made a last minute decision and pulled in. Low and behold I found the only copy of Suikoden II I've ever seen in the wild, and in good condition. I paid $135 for it but from the searching I did online while in the store that wasn't really a rip-off price, so I was pretty stoked about it.

Suikoden II is a brilliant game.

Yeah, I played the first and loved it. I've heard the second one is better, which is hard to fathom, but I've heard it enough to not question it. Though some may not consider that price a "deal," I would disagree. To me, a deal is any price you pay that you are very comfortable with for something you really want. I paid $90 for my copy a few years ago, at that time $120 was the average. In my eyes, one good game was worth buying compared to taking a risk on two new games that are unproven and possibly bad.

Wow, that's awesome you got a copy for less than $100. And yeah, I don't consider my find a deal by any means, but I figured that if I ever found a copy that was about what it was going to be priced at. So in the end I didn't feel ripped off. I've had purchases I've regretted due to post-purchase price shock before, but that didn't happen this time thankfully.

Can't believe I haven't posted in here yet. Some of the harder to find things I've found in the wild over the years have already been sold off at this point I think.

JVC X'eye with all JVC parts priced like a Genesis
CIB Jaguar with nice cardboard insert
Tengen Tetris that was priced like Nintendo Tetris
Virtual Boy in Blockbuster case with most of the library with manuals

I've had 2 big, rare finds.

First, from 2012: Aero Fighters missing manual for $18 from a local flea market.

And second (and even bigger) from 2015: legit Stadium Events for $120 from a local toy show (Guy thought it was a pal cart / didn't know what he had).

Also got a Hagane manual and two Stunt Racer 64 manuals for $3 each at the same toy show.
