I stopped at my favorite game shop today, and stumbled acrossed something that I never thought I'd find: International Superstar Soccer for the SNES. It is my understanding that this is even rarer than ISS: Deluxe, and was thought to have never been released in the US. The number on the label is M/SNS-3U-USA. What can you guys tell me about this game? Only one copy can be found on eBay completed listings; it was complete (with the cart in very average condition) and sold for $550+. I paid $10 for mine.

I will post pictues when I get home tomorrow. Please let me know whatever you can about this game!

Now that I am home, here are some photos:

Obviously, I'm a little peeved that both of the labels are damaged. The label that isn't torn off is in nice shape, as is the plastic. I'm still not complaining - finding this game in ANY condition is a feat. Haven't decided whether I want to keep it or sell it yet.. When I get a better idea of exactly what it might be worth I'll decide what I want to do with it.

It's alright. I'm not a huge soccer rube, so fairly in depth soccer games are a bit difficult for me to get into just because I don't know anything about how to set up a team, the rules of the game or the strategy that goes into it.

Great find, amazing that you found it in the wild like that.  It makes me wonder how much rare stuff I pass by just because I don't know how rare/valuable it is.

haha yeah i wonder that too.  But recently i have been buying every game i find at yard sales.  There are no stores in the area that sell older games anymore.  The oldest things they sell are Game Boy and GB Color games (gamestop)

Thats a real amazing deal.  I want to play it.  I really like the SNES soccer games i have :-P someday i may be lucky lol.  Capcom's Soccer Shootout is a pretty amazing game

I'll probably be selling it soon, so if you have an extra $150, it can be all yours Wink I figure it's about time that I finally get with the rest of the world and join the world of next-gen (non-Wii) consoles. I have been seeing 60GB PS3s on Craigslist for around $300 lately. That's probably what I'll get.
