You're my hero. Vanilla Ice RULES! I can't believe that there is another SERIOUS Vanilla Ice fan on this site. The special edition DVD should be called "Cool As Ice: Drop That Zero Edition".

They do seem pretty brutal on there. Have you signed up with on Game Gavel?

I'm in the same boat, after a failed attempt at selling my Saturn collection (the guy did a runner when he found out the shipping cost) I am now trying to break even by trying to sell them individually for what I paid for them.

Game Gavel might be a better way to sell them, especially since you can't use eBay right now. It is the approach I have taken, plus if nothing else you can get a free game simply by joining up with it since you are a long time RF Gen member, details of the comp here.

Also good to see you, I was wondering whatever happened to ya.

I read the thread over there.  I have no clout with them as I'm not a active forum member.  I only have a couple posts too my name.  Wish I could help you out over there.  I'd recommend going with gamegavel or another smaller auction site.  If all else fails attach a few prices to them with a minimum amount on an order to buy and throw them up on here and atariage.

Wow. I just read through most of that, and it seems like most of those members have a stick lodged in their butt. The funny thing is that 75% of them probably wouldn't have even bought a game from you, even if there wasn't anything to nitpick. They are just there to pile on.

Unfortunately, even though I'd like to come defend your honor, I would be a completely new member there and my words wouldn't have much meaning to a group of such negative and pessimistic people. Is there anyone that you know who would sell the games for you on eBay? That might be your best option. Just pay someone a small commission to throw those games up there using their profile. You really shouldn't have to deal with that garbage.

yeah, they see nothing wrong with how they conduct business over there. ive never noticed that going on here, usually if people dont like the prices they just ignore that perticular thread. it seems pcenginefx members expect too much. (example: $25 for bomberman 93 for tg-16)
anyways i have been looking at the game gavel site. seems good and i hope it takes off, ebays made of assholes. i still havent heard back frm them about my appeal, dont really expect it either. i put a bunch of stuff on amazon but i dont know how the market is over there. but i think game gavel might be a decision. my gripe with auctions is losing money when things undersell. like with cobra.... gotta make at least what you got in it.
and i asked my brother to sell a few of the games on ebay for me and thats a route, but because of all the money transfer with fees and shit it sort of makes it not worth while. if i still had magical chase or might and magic III than that would have been games to do it with. but most of what i have left isnt worth doing that with. but still its a last resort. who all is doing the game gavel thing???

I've signed up over at game gavel.  I've never sold anything but have bidded on a few things.  From what I know alot of the game sites have members who have joined.

I couldn't believe someone complained you wouldn't just send them a game and then sit on your thumbs hoping that they have the decency to pay you after they have the game. That is insane!

It'll probably take a while for any of mine to sell, but when I listed them I put the starting price at what I paid so either I make my money back or they just sit there. So while they are auctions, essentially they are just sales since there won't be a bidding war.

The advantage is you can list all of your games for free, and even set auto relist up to 99 times!

I haven't brought anything off of Game Gavel yet, but have sold two items, the 1st went smoothly, just waiting for the second to get their. The owner of the site is pretty trustworthy, he was the one who brought my original item and left feedback Wink

Good luck as I know where you are coming from.
