I can't sleep and I've been watching this guy's reviews for awhile now, as I am sure many of you have. He provides very entertaining reviews of newer games, funny stuff chock full of sarcasm and wit, and if you have not watched any of his videos I would most heartily suggest them.

Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw has, recently, become EXTREMELY popular. His reviews now pull an unprecedented amount of traffic to the site that hosts him, and most recently on a front page ad on steam he was quoted for his review of Painkiller.

Everyone is watching his reviews, steam is marketing on his popularity, and I wonder what will become of this guy? He has already transcended that other, quite angry, internet reviewer who started off so popular, and one wonders what will become of Mr. Croshaw. Will he hit a glass ceiling when everyone realizes he is just a cynical man of comedy out to make a laugh or will he keep going and going, gaining popularity until the gaming plebians and the market are his to command?

Check out his reviews at:

I've seen the Zero Punctuation previews of his stuff on X-play. I think they give them some time on the Tuesday night shows to plug his website.

Funny stuff.

He makes his own games, as well, and they are pretty nifty. See here : http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/games.htm

Not only is he hilarious, he's usually spot on with his commentary.

Interesting interview Yahtzee had with some Australian TV show.

Not sure if you all follow him as I do, but either way he has some enlightening things to say on the world of gaming.

Hah, I saw his Haze and Spore reviews and they were pretty funny although I must say I'm annoyed by his very fast way of speaking which feels like a forced gimmick to me.
