I've decided I'm going to make a time capsule that will be buried in the yard, but I don't know what all to put in it. So far the only things I can think of to put in it are a newspaper, some family photos, and maybe some kind of record of this site.
So I need some ideas of what to put in it. And it will (hopefully) be water tight; I'm taking a metal toolbox wrapping it in plastic wrap and then with duct tape.

How long are you planning to bury it?

1000 years, then he can come out and befriend an alcoholic chain-smoking robot and a Cyclops, become an intergalactic delivery boy, and have many zany adventures with all the employees of the Planet Express Delivery Company.

Did you ever see the one with the last can of sardines on the planet? Good stuff.

I thought about that, I've already got one sealed up in a wall though. I'll probably end up throwing one in there anyway though.

How long are you planning to bury it?
I was thinking 10-15 years.

Throw in a game magazine and maybe a controller.  I'd also make a list of a few future event's that you think are going to happen.  10 to 15 years from now you can see if you came close on your predictions.

A gallon of Gasoline. It'll be worth at least $50-$1,000,000 dollars in about 3 months, so think about in 10-15 years.  laugh
