Chicago's Average today as of now is $4.193, down from $4.205 yesterday. The station near my house keeps switching between $4.139, $4.159, $4.179, or $4.199. And I live in a suburb of Chicago, where the prices are supposed to be 20-50 cents lower, not 5!!!

Pittsburgh, PA area is $3.85 - $3.95

I drive a company van from my house to work and back each day. Each van has a gas card(company credit card) in it.
I still drive a GMC Safari van, but because they don't make them anymore, they have been replacing them with Ford F250 vans. So now with the bigger vans and higher gas price, they have gone from $18,000 a month in gas to $42,000 a month in gas to fuel all of the vehicles.

Beware those of you who live in an area where a summer gas mix is mandated. It's more expensive, and it shall be making its return on June 2.

Chicago was holding steady at about $4.19 for 2 or 3 days. Now are average is $4.230. One week ago it was $4.195, one month $3.844, one year $3.669.

Wow...Pathetic.

The good news is Chicago isn't the highest in the country any more. The bad news is California is going to go poor. laugh

British Petroleum, eh? All I say to that is lolwut?

121.9 per liter = 1.219 pounds/liter = 4.61441695982 pounds per gallon = 9.13146972 USD per gallon.

We pay $4.099, they pay $9.129. Difference = $5.03 per gallon. Us Americans need to stop whining.

No, they should start whining (or whine louder). Nobody should be paying more than $3/gallon.

I think I heard (On the internet, mind) Britain has the cheapest Diesel in Europe.... until taxes are added onto it. There's Gordon Brown telling the fuel companies to make more and bring the prices down when most of it is taxes. Roll Eyes

The main reason why fuel is so expensive in Europe is because of heavy taxes. One, to discourage usage, and two, to help pay for much needed state things, such as schools, recreational parks, free health-care, and many more things that Americans have, but they just arn't as nice as our European Cousin's stuff. Belgium has one of the highest fuel prices on Earth, but they also have one of the best public school systems on Earth. Coincedence? I think not. Cheesy
