Thought I would start a thread on the state of Gas prices in your area. So I did.

Metropolitan Chicago's average price for reg unleaded passed San Franciso today, at a price of $4.001 on average. Illinois continues to be plauged by rapidly rising gas prices, mainly the Chicagoland area. In the course of a week, the price of regular has gone up 17 CENTS!!! Shocked

I will continue to rant daily. Post info on your hometown, if you like. laugh
I kinda want James to do a write-up on the petrol prices across the pond. Cheesy

I am a new member of gas buddy. It is a user input community that allows people to report gas prices anywhere in the US and Canada (Sorry James, no UK support for you Sad). It really is a great website! The ironic thing is, well... I won't be driving for another year, at least.

I can't help being obsessed with gas prices, okay!! Just lay off!!! :embarassed: laugh

PS: It's up to $4.007

PSS: $4.015 now

Gas around my area is $3.75 a gallon.
It's a good thing I drive a company vehicle with a company gas card.

You know, that used to be less than what we're paying for it, until our currency value collapsed Sad

I saw some shocking fuel prices this week.

Petrol - $9.32/US gallon (123.9ppl)
Diesel - $10.08/US gallon Shocked (133.9ppl)

But around here the main petrol stations are about 114.9-116.9 for petrol and 124.9 for diesel. The higher prices were from independent stations out in the countryside.
