$3.83 or $3.88 for the cheap stuff here. Was up to $3.98 last week and it's over $4 in Kansas.

Prices have become steady here. The local one is still at 120.9ppl but others are around 117.9/118.9.

We broke the $4 mark in NKC. Monday it was $4.06 @ 6:30 pm then yesterday morning it was $4.09 then back to $4.06 and today it's $4.05. I think the bastards need to stick with a price and leave it.

Yesterday the price in Berwyn's BP on Ogden and Oak Park Ave. shot up to $4.39 I was all like  no and dad was like  :embarassed: and I was like  Angry Angry Angry Shocked

Average seems to be down to $3.899 around here although I've seen as "low" as $3.859.

I'm not saying $4 gas is a good thing, however, it is having some good side effects. For one thing, more people are carpooling and avoiding unnecessary trips which reduces traffic for everyone. But what I think is a very good thing is that it is getting a lot of people thinking about and switching to alternative fuels, which is definitely a good thing. Oil was never meant to last forever, but everyone just ignored that fact while it was cheap, but now that it's $4/gallon people are realizing we NEED something better. [/Environmentalist rant]
