The scary thing is that they still have to get a deal done with ESPN and ABC (I think).  I wanna start a new sports league.

Nope , you are correct. They still need to finish the deal with ABC/ESPN.... The NFL is the king of sports in the U.S. I guess.... I mean this deal is better than most of the other combined I think.

That's an awful lot of money. The sad thing is that it'll be loaded with commercials to earn it back. Eventually the viewer is most likely screwed.

Yeah, the commercials during NFL games are getting ridiculous.  I've mostly watched college football for the last eight or so years since the Bengals have been bad most of my life.  When I started to watch the NFL more regularly last year and borderline religiously this year, I noticed that commercials during NFL games FAR surpass the amount in college games.

btw, I heard that the deal that they got with FOX and CBS is worth more than the deals for baseball, basketball, hockey, and NASCAR put together.  Damn.
