The whole thing with Jin and Sun was very confusing. It was hard to tell what was a flash forward or a flash back.

Other than that, it was a very good episode. I can't wait to see Michael's story.

This is mostly what I was talking about. I'm having a difficult time figuring out why Sun was so adamant about having Jin there before she gave birth, especially if she knew he was dead. My friend was chalking it up to her being delusional before birth, but that's hard for me to believe. Knowing the show, we won't get an answer about it for about 7 more episodes.

^B.E.D, Did you see the last 5 minutes?

Hurley visited Sun in Japan and they went to Jin's tombstone. She "told" Jin that the doctors told her she was asking for him during childbirth. So yeah...Jin died somehow.

In short, Jin's story in the episode was a flashback. Sun's was a flashforward. But we don't realize that until the end.

I'm also curious to see what Michael's new story is! And why he agreed to ally with Ben after working so hard to get off the island with Walt...

However, the most mind-blowing scene was the boat captain explaining the circumstances of the flight recorder to Sayid and Desmond...DAMN!

The Wikipedia page for the episode sums it up well:
"The scenes with Sun are flashforwards to mid-2005, when she is giving birth; the scenes with Jin are flashbacks to 2000, the last year of the dragon. In the closing scenes, Hurley, Sun and her daughter Ji Yeon visit Jin's grave. The date on the gravestone is 2004-9-22, the date of the plane crash."

yeah but the note they got earlier said "don't trust the captain". so was what he told Desmond and Sayid bullshit?

so if Jin died in the crash he wouldn't one of the Oceanic Six.

Is it possible that Jin got left behind, and he's not really dead? I suppose it's also possible that he dies next week, as the preview for next week clued us in on...

As for Michael, it will be interesting to see how he got to the ship. Ben seems true to his word, getting him off the island in exchange for the people on his list. Something else must have happened after he returned to put him in Ben's debt.

I'm not even going to start in on the story around the black box, the ship's captain and Mr. Whitmore. There's far too much to even speculate about that Smiley

I am SO happy they changed it to 10:00. Now I can actually watch it and not have to tape it. So that frees up a slot on the VCR so I can tape CSI instead Grin

Oh baby. I am so fucking excited for Thursday! I saw the preview on TV about 5 times last night. It really looks like were gonna get an ass-kicking episode to make up for having to struggle through a Lost-free month.

Amazing episode last night Grin

I can't believe they actually killed Alex. And I thought for sure Claire was going to die.

Holy cow was that good Smiley I had class, so I was just able to watch it this afternoon online, but wow!

I was shocked that they killed Alex, but I expected Claire to live (for now). If/when she dies she'll get a more 'respectful' death, being that she's been a central character for the entirety of the show.

How about Ben and Mr. Whitmore?

So Ben is going after Penelope. It was interesting how Widmore said he'd never find her as to this point any time we've seen her it did not appear as though he had her tucked away anywhere.

That "You changed the rules" comment should also provide for some interesting explanation too. What IS the story on those 2 guys?

on a side note, anyone ever seen these?

Claire can't die yet. Somehow they have to have Jack find out that he and Claire are half brother & sister.

Claire has now buggered off with Jack's dad. I'm guessing Jack does find out she's his sister. When he said to Kate in reference to Aaron, "You're not even related to him" seems a good indication he knows.

My head is still spinning from last nights episode. There is SO much going on right now.

Anyone watch the Season Finale last night?

Excellent! Not quite as awesome as last year's, but still with a lot of interesting stuff and WTF! moments. Cool
