Tan,
Thank you for providing us a common spot to post up regarding our sites. I know that it will provide valuable resources for the RF Generation members when looking into the sites. I will ensure that all of my posts for GameGavel.com go here, as appropriate and within the rules.

Don't miss out on the newest episode of "Let the Gavel Fall", where I discuss some exciting new auctions coming to GameGavel.com! NintendoAge will be auctioning off #3 of 50 of the Nintendo Age Nintendo World Championship reproduction carts! Fully boxed, new, and realistic to every detail this is going to be a great item! Also, RedSpotGames has joined the GameGavel.com team and will be using GameGavel.com to sell their games in auctions exclusively! RedSpot is one of the last Dreamcast devlopers out there, and I am proud that they have decided to use GameGavel.com to sell their games!

I am happy to announce that the forums at GameGavel.com have been introduced and are just itching for some new topics. I think everyone will be happy that the forums still look and feel like the rest of the site, and when you register for the site (or even if you already have) your account on the forums is ready to go... NO NEED for different registrations, etc.
Also, check out this auction going on:

ChaseTheChuckwagon.com is still getting the cream of the crop when it comes to listings. In addition to the NES protos listed above, we have had a new member just list another aucthentic NES Prototype Tetris Cart:
http://www.chasethechuckw....cgi?show_item=0000004631
And to update you all on our our growth - as of this post, we are now sitting at 616 members and have signed up about another 30 this past week.
ChaseTheChuckwagon.com is always pushing the envelope to create and nurture a community spirit. We were the first to launch member forums and also the first to feature a weekly podcast we call "Auction Talk".
Visit our forums to see what other members are saying about their time on ChaseTheChuckwagon.com:
http://www.chasingthechuc...agon.com/upload/index.php
For you considering selling on something other than Ebay, let me ease your fears about listing items on a ChaseTheChuckwagon.com. In only 3 1/2 months we have seen extraordinary growth and traffic. Alexa.com ranks the Chuckwagon in the top 150,000 websites in the USA (this fluctuates daily but we have been averaging less than 200,000) and we are in the top 600,000 websites in the World. We have hosted over 4000 auctions and sold over $16,000 in items.
So do like hundreds of other collectors are doing. Jumping ship at eBay and stepping aboard the Chuckwagon.
So Cal Mike

Digging up the past, I wanted to show everyone some of the GameGavel Videos I did when the stie started back in February. Looking back, I am glad I adapted to a podcast
http://www.youtube.com/angryjasen
You can see all of the contests runs we have done, and even the most amazing still picture commercial ever!
Don't forget about the $.99 Selling Bonanza contest going on. $100 in prizes up for grabs for a relatively simple set of rules.

I was searching "Game Gavel" on Google today, and this came up. I couldn't help but fall out of my chair. The contest went great, by the way! Thanks to Cobra for the strong push here at RFGeneration! Looking at his post and the fact that he is banned, makes me think he came here to just cause trouble.... the worst kind of posters on forums. Anyways, be assured that GameGavel.com is free, minus the major feature options, and that I have answered all of the emails within 12 hours (minus my vacation). Thanks for the support everyone!

"Come on in, Register today!" Contest - Winner Announced October 1, 2008
Refer your friends, family, neighbors, acquaintances, and random people on the street to Game Gavel and earn CASH! No Gift Cards, No secrets, No games... cash! Here's how this one will work: Starting July 30 we have 384 users on Game Gavel! As this number grows, I will ad $.25 to a jar for every ONE person that joins the site. On October 1, 2008 I will determine how many new people have joined and figure out how much the prize will be. One out of all of the people registered (vets and rookies) at Game Gavel will be pulled out of the digital hat (the bucket as previously seen in Game Gavel videos may be too small) and I will send them the jar of coins (not actually a jar of coins, maybe a couple of bills instead to save on shipping). Minimum prize is $10, Maximum prize.... it's up to you!

I felt we are approaching a momentus occasion on ChaseTheChuckwagon.com. When we launched only a little over 4 months ago, our idea was met with more than a little skepticism. But as time has gone by, I think ChaseTheChuckwagon.com is filling a nice little niche within the auction world.
Here are some interesting tidbits of information and statistics since we launched:
Briskly grown to over 670 members, averaging over 160 new members each month . . . and growing.
Listed over 4,000 Items
Sold over $18,000 in Goods
Introduced an active community forum where members can get to know one another
We have risen into the top 120,000 Websites in the USA and around 550,000 worldwide. I know these are still big #'s but considering there are over 10 Millions website worldwide, in four short months the Chuckwagon is doing amazingly well. In addition to the 670+ members we are seeing tons of traffic each and every day which means people are bookmarking us and will register when they see something they want.
If you have yet to join, what are you waiting for? ChaseTheChuckwagon.com is less expensive to sell on, has a great variety of classic and modern gaming items getting listed each and every day, and will continue to grow for ever. It's not going anywhere. It's all about choices and now gamers everywhere have a legitimate choice for gaming auctions.
Climb on board the fastest growing internet auction site dedicated to gamers.

CPUWIZ and ChaseTheChuckwagon.com have come together to offer up a very limited release of a very mysterious game.

Here is an excerpt from AtariProtos.com attempting to describe this "unknown" game:
"Believe me when I say that this prototype is a complete mystery. No programmer, no model number, and no company. We don't even know the name of the game. The only we have as to the identity of this prototype is the name Universal, which is silk screened onto the EPROM board. Unfortunately this just raises more questions than it answers. Universal was an arcade game manufacturer, and licensed all its games to Coleco. But why would Universal suddenly start programming their own original games for the 2600?"
Read more about this never before released game here:
http://www.atariprotos.co...tware/u...n3/unknown3.htm
This game cartridge has been meticulously created by CPUWIZ right down to the label featuing the ChaseTheChuckwagon.com logo. This will only be made available in limited quanitites on
http://www.ChaseTheChuckwagon.com
. Own a piece of previously unattainable video gaming history dressed to the nines and ready to grace your Atari 2600.
It is undetermined as to the quantities this will be produced. Each one will be individually numbered by it's creator CPUWIZ. We will make an official announcement will be made on the ChaseTheChuckwagon.com Member Forums located here:http://www.chasingthechuckwagon.com/upload/index.php
Stay Tuned !

This morning I logged in to check
www.GameGavel.com
and I was pleasantly surprised by a bunch of new Turbo Grafx stuff posted for sale! It's not just regular loose HuCards or loose CD's.... I am talking about COMPLETE games with spine cards and everything! Pretty good stuff!
If you are a TG collector or even the hobbyist, you probably want to check the latest auctions out!
I am glad to see the diversity of GameGavel's auctions. With all of the categories and all of the various platforms covered, GameGavel is doing very well to have a little bit of something for everyone... not a lot of ONE thing for everyone. It's a great thing!

It's about that time... to announce the winners for the $.99 Selling Bonanza Contest! Here was the breakdown of the winners of this great contest:
1. Most Items Listed: DefaultGen!
2. Item with the Most Bids: DefaultGen!
3. Item with the Highest End Price: Game Shack!
The Contest Ended September 1, 2008! DefaultGen will receive a $75 Gift Certificate to Amazon.com and Game Shack will receive a $25 Gift Certificate to Amazon.com.
Congrats to all of the winners!
As usual,
www.GameGavel.com
has contests going on continuously! Don't forget about the "Come on in and Register Today!" contest, where you can win cold hard cash simply by joining the free Video Game Auction site.
To date,
www.GameGavel.com
has given away some great stuff including: 2 Nintendo DS Systems, 5 Brand New Games, a boxed NES system, and $100 in Amazon Gift Cards. We love rewarding our users for trying something other than eBay!
What about Promotion? Well, to keep getting the name
www.GameGavel.com
out, we have hired 2 new promoters to continue pushing the
www.GameGavel.com
name. eBay has just announced some "great" new policies that really hit the pocket books for the video game crowd. You will pay up to 15% in Final Value Fees, and a flat $.15 for every insertion. Money Order payments are going away and will no longer be allowed, and there is a new max shipping price you can charge. You have heard of Big Government imposing its will on citizens, well eBay is imposing its will on its customers! With the addition of promoters and the new eBay policies,
www.GameGavel.com
is the clear choice alternative!
Quit paying fees, it's so last decade!
Finally, I am proud to reveal the latest additon to the
www.GameGavel.com
community. The GameGavel.com Video Game Radio Station! 24 hours a day Video Game Music for everyone to enjoy! Check it out here:
