I don't know how that could work either. I didn't even know anything about it till now.
I don't know how you could work Co-Op in a game like that.
Does any one know if State of Emergency had 2 players?
If so that might answer the question.

NO! I woulod rather watch someone play that game then play it myself. I have not spent more then 10 minutes playing a GTA game since GTA 2.

After about 5 minutes of running around killing people it gets old.

Well if all you do is run around and kill people, you may as well play State of Emergency, perhaps Rockstar's worst game ever.  The missions, extra modes (taxi, vigilante, etc.) jumps, packages, rampages, property ownership, gang wars, etc., etc. make these games great.

I tried the missions and I still didnt have much fun. Weird thing is I don't mind watching people play it. I just don't like playing it.

Is GTA:SA going to come out on the X-Box next year like GTA:VC did? IF so maybe I will try it then.

I haven't been able to find any information about an X-Box or PC release of San Andreas.  A friend of mine claims that it will be PS2 exclusive forever, but I highly doubt that.  They claimed the same kind of thing about the Tomb Raider series on PSX, GTA3 on PS2, etc.  I'm sure it will come out eventually, but who knows when?

For games like Doom yes I am lying. Nice simple controls. For a game like GTA I tell no lie.

It's all true. This really is the best game ever. There's sooooooo much stuff in it. It terrifies me to think about how much time it's going to take me to get 100% completion. We're talking 100 hours of gameplay easily. A lot of the crap parts of the last GTA have been tweaked too. The shooting system is awesome now. It's totally different. It's more like SOCOM.

Everybody has been talking a lot about the fat/skinny for months and it's pretty cool, but I think people are missing the point. It's not just about getting fat or skinny. The same system is applied to everything else in the game too. Your character has a skill level associated with each and every action in the game as well as ratings for other traits which effect gameplay. There's a lot of RPG influence in that system.

As Nep brought up, there is also a two-player feature now. I haven't had anybody around to play with, so I played two-player Chow-Yun-Fat style. It's somewhat limited. It looks like the only missions you can do in two-player mode are the rampages, other than that you just run around on a killing spree. The only really cool thing is both players can get in the same car, and one drives while the other shoots. It reminded me of Halo.

Is the music any good? There was a lot of good music in the early 90's but also a  lot of bad stuff that could easily have been included.
