Been acquiring a few things off eBay over the last week, one lot which was 4 SMS games.  Was out all day yesterday because I went to the football, and after winning 2-0 (Cheesy), and being absolutely battered by rain all day, got back home at about 7.

Then my parents arrived back at about 8:30 just as I was on my way out.  As my mum came in the door she went 'what's this?'.  Turns out, there was a parcel which had been left outside the door in the pouring rain ALL DAY, and materialised that in fact was my lot of 4 SMS games.  My jaw just dropped, but at least it seemed although the paper was absolutely nailed by the rain, the bubble wrap seemed to save the games.

Just a rant really, can't believe someone would be so stupid to do that though!

That's pretty damn stupid. Better ask thx about that, he could be the culprit Wink

Last week I got a package and the mailman put it 'safely' underneat the camper that was standing on the porch. It might be save from the weather there, but I don't like the idea of my packages lying outside, where everyone can basically grab it, despite living in a very decent town.

Mail man left a package for me under a bench next to our front door. Luckily the contents of the package were sealed and floating on styrofoam peanuts because the whole bottom 2 inches of the box got completely soaked.

Like Arrr i live in a pretty good neighborhood but i don't like that my package will be sitting out in plain veiw. Because you never know who might happen to drive thru your neighborhood that day.

@Sureshot, that conrravenes postal regulations.

Complain, in person, at your local sorting office. Go there, and make a complaint, ask to speak to the line manager for your round. Just politely ask that it never happen again, if it does, you will take it further.

Ask that a note to this effect be put on the "frame" for your round.

I came home one day to find the 3DO with four games and controllers that I just bought on Ebay not even on my porch, but on the steps leading up to my porch.  Unlike Arrr and Izret, I live in a shitty nieghborhood where I have already been broken into twice (I ended up getting back everything that was taken from me, but that is a story for another time).  Despite the fact that I have talked to our mailman about it, I still come home to find Ebay packages sitting in plain sight on my porch.  It is beyond ridiculous.
