I went to the New Theatre in Oxford after work today but the only seats available for Australian Pink Floyd were limited visibility. i.e. right on the edges.
Same price, of course. We didn't bother getting tickets.
I wouldn't have been so bothered if we hadn't had to stop in the most disgusting car park ever. It was an underground pay-and-display where they charged £3 for one hour.
We were only there for five to ten minutes.
The lanes were very tight, so I hit the kerb on corners a couple of times. It was dark, damp and smelly. There were lots of signs warning of how you would be fined £100 for not being entirely inside the miniscule parking spaces, or £500 for not displaying a ticket. They had a rising ramp on the entrance and exit for whatever stupid reason, but the lanes to line up with the sensor were extremely tight. If I moved further ahead to swing around, I would have hit a bollard, if I swung around sooner I would have hit the kerb. I actually ended up doing a three point turn to get the right angle. Then the sensor wouldn't drop the ramp because I had to be within 2mm of hitting the ramp.
What a God-awful car park.
