for £40 each plus all the booking fee nonsense.  Extortionate but better than paying hundreds on ebay!

That's actually not as bad as I was expecting. Maybe it's just because the O2 is London and London is crappy so they charge more for the inconvenience of being in a crappy place. The cheapest London tickets were £100, I think.

Australian Pink Floyd were about £27, but damn it, they were good!

Yeah, London always charges more for some reason. Can't think why. London is indeed a crappy place.

I had a quick look on eBay just to see how much tickets were going for (for bragging rights, of course). A pair not too far from my own seats at the MEN sold for nearly £400!  A pair of standing tickets for the O2 sold for £3,100!!! That's just mad.

£40 is still quite a lot though.  That's £80 for a pair, plus £13 in booking fees (which I reckon should be illegal) and postage.  I think that's about the most I've ever paid for concert tickets... except for Aerosmith in Hyde Park which was about £50 a ticket, but that's acceptable because it's Aerosmith (my favourite band).

Australian Pink Floyd is in Oxford on the 14th of April this year. They are £1 more expensive than last year at £28.50, but they are worth it.

I saw Slipknot last Thursday. Was a pretty good show. Lots going on due to 9 people in the band.

I went to the New Theatre in Oxford after work today but the only seats available for Australian Pink Floyd were limited visibility. i.e. right on the edges. Sad  Same price, of course. We didn't bother getting tickets.

I wouldn't have been so bothered if we hadn't had to stop in the most disgusting car park ever. It was an underground pay-and-display where they charged £3 for one hour. Shocked We were only there for five to ten minutes. Roll Eyes The lanes were very tight, so I hit the kerb on corners a couple of times. It was dark, damp and smelly. There were lots of signs warning of how you would be fined £100 for not being entirely inside the miniscule parking spaces, or £500 for not displaying a ticket. They had a rising ramp on the entrance and exit for whatever stupid reason, but the lanes to line up with the sensor were extremely tight. If I moved further ahead to swing around, I would have hit a bollard, if I swung around sooner I would have hit the kerb. I actually ended up doing a three point turn to get the right angle. Then the sensor wouldn't drop the ramp because I had to be within 2mm of hitting the ramp.

What a God-awful car park. Angry

I saw Themes this past Saturday. A Minneapolis band that relocated here to Portland. We're From Japan and Portugal. The Man both played, but I didn't necessarily care for either of them.
