I went to the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert at our County Fair last night. Absolutely amazing show, the sound was perfect, much better than the Foreigner concert last year. We were maybe 100 feet from the stage and it was so awesome being to able to watch the guitar players do their magic. They only played 6-7 songs, but the tickets were only $30, so I was satisfied. The show lasted exactly 1 hour plus Free Bird for an encore. I loved how after the last song, the lights went off and a lot of people left because they thought the show was over.

Finally getting around to posting some pictures from the Skynyrd concert. I made sure before I went I cleared all the images off my card and put them on my laptop so I'd plenty of room for pictures. But once I got there, I realized I left my damn card in the laptop, so I had only the camera's built in memory, which was full, so I had to delete everything on it.

The photos came out awful, this was the best of the three.

Any one have some tips for taking pictures at concerts?

I also did a little video since the photos were coming out so bad.

Got my tickets to see the Toadies! They have been one of my favorite bands since like '95, and I've never been able to see them. I'm so excited!

Will be seeing Rise Against, Thrice, Alkaline Trio and Gaslight Anthem in KC in November.

Willingly admitting that the tour would be  much better four years ago with Strike Anywhere instead of Gaslight Anthem, it still will be an awesome show me thinks. Worth the 2 1/2 hour drive from Omaha.

Nice, remember to get right in the mosh pit so you can leave the place looking like you just bathed in blood and green stuff.

Aren't the AC/DC tickets sort of super duper uber expensive? Tongue I saw the ones at the O2 were £300 for standing tickets for one night. Shocked

I went and saw Minus the Bear this week. Going to see Wolfman Strikes Again! on Sunday, and the Toadies on Tuesday.

I hate you. How much were the tickets, I didn't even bother seeing what they go for as I know I wouldn't be able to afford them anyway.

Manchester tickets went on general sale 10am yesterday and of course I was on Ticketmaster the second they were available Tongue  Managed to get some - lower tier seated with full view, I hate the standing section at the MEN - for £40 each plus all the booking fee nonsense.  Extortionate but better than paying hundreds on ebay!

They've probably all sold out by now. I heard the Dublin show sold out in less than 5 minutes...  Shocked

The 2 AC/DC shows in Antwerp (Belgium) sold out in under 2 hours. It's crazy, they talked about it on the news.
