Hrmm. I've had a transfer of £93.50 into my bank account for some reason. I know who it's from but I don't know why. I had £93.50 transferred in on Monday and again today - it's supposed to be every two weeks.

Well, be careful, I don't know if it is the same in the UK but if the deposit is not meant to be in the US the deposit can be withdrawn without your knowledge.

Unexpected deposits, or deposits known to be wrong should be declared to the bank. But I have a feeling it's been deposited early because the next one would be on New Year's Eve. I'll be seeing them on Thursday anyway.

Holy flying Christ on a pogo stick! What a crap day at work. The touch screen tills are linked to a central system. When I got there the wrong menu was on the screens of all three tills. The screens were eventually changed 20 minutes after the gates opened. But they still didn't work properly. We had to close two tills and only use one. Guess whose till was left open. I had to put up with people getting extraordinarily arsey with me. We couldn't do meal deals (Pie and a pint of beer or pack of nuts and a pint) and we couldn't do half pints - they all came up with wine or sausage rolls.

Then I asked for ID from someone who looked 16 who then got arsey with me, so his dad took the money off him and got arsey with me when I said I won't serve him unless his son can give me ID. It's illegal to knowingly sell alcohol to someone who is supplying it to underage people.

I hate football fans. They're so uptight and demanding, wanting things ten minutes ago. Rugby fans are much more laid back and forgiving if something goes wrong. They don't mind waiting a little while until things are sorted out.

The IT guy worked out what the problem was but couldn't fix it. Apparently the nightclub that's part of the stadium is linked into the same system and while they're online, our tills get kicked off. Brillo pads.

Now I smell of beer farts.

But, you're British... shouldn't you inherently enjoy Football?
