While my "messing around on this site" likely bears little resemblance to your "messing around on this site," I hear ya and feel for ya. You might need to draw some power from the ol' banhammer to get you through the day tomorrow...

There's a big brownout in town here right when I was cleaning and testing my new games. Apparently quite a few blocks are without power and we're not supposed to get it back until 1030 p.m. local time. The only thing I have charged is my DS.

Hey now,

The big reason I love being on a hospital block, where I don't have to worry about intentional power shutoffs.

Nope, but I did see Team America: World Police, featuring the scariest portrayal of a North Korean dictator ever.

SPOILER ALERT: Kim Jong-Il didn't really die; he just went home.

You know, I read that Kim Jong-Il was big into watching western movies. I wonder if he ever saw Team America, and what he must have thought of it...

I decided to go on the grand journey of learning how Dungeons & Dragons works.

I have a bunch of books (actually have had a couple of them for 3-4 years, just never read them) and am learning how the game works. Quite complex at first, especially because you have to read all the stat info instead of having a video game do everything for you. At this point I'm feel pretty familiar with character creation. Now I'm going through the combat system.

Working from home, I can now spend most of my slow time refreshing the home page periodically to check for new forum stuff and documenting more of the pile. I am almost done, finally.
