But, if everyone posted everything they write instead of deleting it, you would have more to reply to, so you would have even more posts than that. I think we need some math expert to weigh in here.

A "money-manager" calculator with an ERROR reading?

I really love the LEDs on those old TIs.  It really says "1979" to me.  In a good way.

My dad got an LED TI multifunction calculator for a Christmas present way back when I was just a toddler. I recalled that some calculations took up to two seconds to process. And I think its price was in the $200 range. I'm guessing it was comparable to today's faster and cheaper TI-30 line.

I was going to make a little video of my "money manager" calculator, mostly to show it "thinking" and the time it takes. I can't seem to get it to store any numbers to do the payment calculations though. I would think this would be one of the most time consuming calculations it can preform.

It's kinda weird, the calculator works fine otherwise, so I don't know why it wouldn't store the numbers.

I did find out it was made in late '77. There is a manufacturing stamp on the back.

So, no video, sorry. It does take about 0.75 seconds to do some log and e^x calculations, but that doesn't seem too exciting.
