No matter how much or how little snow we get here 90% of the people seem to panic!

It's welcome here in Minnesota.  For some reason the locals forget how to drive though.  It's the college students who seem to get by safely.

It's been cold enough around here for there to be snow on top of the nearby hills, but it's been clear skies for a few weeks now.

I delete so many spam bots, I don't even remember them anymore. Two this morning had over 100 posts between them, right up until I sent them to spammer Hell.

I think I'm finally getting over the Seahawks loss.

Nevermind.  Still hurts.

You could always catch a few Oklahoma City Thunder games, and pretend they're still in Seattle.

Or I could send you some of those perler beads you so adore.

Anybody else that lives near a fort like I do now has a tasteful new way to store SNES games.

Pour a little more salt in that OKC wound Hagtorch.

You have something coming of your own, pal.

If only stealing from Uncle Sugar wasn't a "thing" I could retire from selling ammo cans!  We have stacks of hundreds of these bad boys where I work.  What fort do you live by?

Got the day off today due to the extreme cold, wind chill is supposed to be -15.
And of course, the heat is wonky in the house today. For some reason, the upstairs has always gotten little heat, which I've made up for by setting the thermostat to 85 and just letting the warm air go up the stairs. But this morning I wake up and its actually hot in my room, so I go downstairs to check the thermostat, and its 70 downstairs. So for some reason the temperatures have switched and its now hot upstairs and cold downstairs.
I'm going to try my hardest to never get another place that has hot-water heat.

It's supposed to be just as cold here today.  It was 5 degrees on my way into work this morning and that's not even counting wind chill.

I feel bad for my dogs in weather like this.  Yesterday they couldn't stand outside for more than a minute without limping because their feet were too cold.

It's well below zero around here as well. I'm playing hooky this week. I'm not working outside in weather.

Wind chill here was in the -30 range today and yesterday. Nobody got any days off because of it. :/

Also: I finally got some bookcases up in my apartment and was able to unpack and organize my games for the first time in 5+ years. Pretty exciting! I'll work on getting some photos taken and posted for the people that care to see.
