I hate the video ads with loud sound to the side of youtube videos. I'M TRYING TO WATCH VIDEOS. WITH SOUND AND SHIT.

What's worse is now if you're trying to go through a playlist on a channel there is an ad before and after every video.
But, I'm addicted to LPs, so i deal with it.

People make money on youtube, if they entertain me I like to be a nice monetized view for them.
Adblock completely kills that possibility and its why people with 500,000 views might just make enough to get by when 75% of views have adblock.
I do use adblock, but you can greenlist sites that it pauses the add-on for, I keep certain channels and sites unblocked to try to help my favorite entertainers out.

that's a good idea for certain channels, but i wouldn't want to do that for all of youtube. personally i'm not that honorable when it comes to ads though, if i can block them i always will

it's pretty amazing, i rarely ever see ads anymore, and it doesn't usually affect the layout of the sites in a bad way

I got to the airport and joined the queue at Premium Check In. The queue was long because a tornado this afternoon had delayed a lot of flights. To the side of the queue were some computerised self-service check ins so I tried using them. Of course, no one was using them because they don't work. I went back to the queue and some blighter had taken my place and wouldn't let me back in. Well, then. The duel was
on
. Being British, I'm a master of queueing. I played the passive aggressive tactic of not making eye contact and not saying a word while inching forward next to him. Alas, he also had a British passport. A formidable foe! The battle continued until he make the mistake of reaching down into his bag while the queue moved forward. I seized the chance and moved in front of him while his guard was down. The battle was long but stubbornness prevailed. I had secured my place in the history books as having gained my place back in the queue. Wot wot!
Also, I've gone a bit potty.

God only knows where this myth of being good at queuing come from. I'm English, always have been, and fucking hate queueing for anything. This may have to do with my total lack of patience though.....

Blame it on all the movies, shows, and culture brought across the pond. Crap, there was even a line about this in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
