^ Yup. Had those on Lake Ontario too. I thought about breaking out the surf board but I hadn't waxed it.

Actually I don't surf at all. More of a mountain bike person.

I went to my first school today. They were having a fete. There was a New Zealand celebrity there. He was selling raffle tickets for ham.

The average cost of daycare for one child for a month in my area is $700. The average monthly income for one full time adult is $1440. I'm glad I don't pay for childcare.

So around this time of year when all the students are settled in and their financial aid money starts running thin my Craigslist suddenly becomes awesome for retro games. So many people will trade their memories for booze money its almost sick. But hey, I might snag a fairly sweet NES score today if it hasn't been grabbed already. Its like I'm retro shopping right now with all the Genesis, NES, and SNES listings up.

Even a sweet MK cabinet has popped up.

I lost my power for a week due to complications from SUPERSTORM SANDY. Just got it back at 4am. I've never been so thankful for a heated house in my life.

Also, this:

I am going to turn this Bee My Honey stickered SMB/DH into a family heirloom.

I'm going to give it to the future love of my life as a wedding gift with a nice picture of me on one knee handing the cart to her so it looks like I proposed with it instead of a nice ring.
