Got a repeat vaccine shot for tetanus yesterday. I'll be getting shots for hepatitis A+B later this year and beginning next year. (3 shots in total) According to my doctor, kids nowadays automatically get vaccinated for hepatitis in Belgium, but when I was young that wasn't yet so.

Better safe than sorry, imo.

Went through the same thing entering high school.

Neat. They didn't do hepatitis when I was in high school. Which isn't that long ago. Not sure about now.

I'm doing it just for myself, btw. I'm not being forced by university/work to get vaccinated. Hell, I even have to pay for the shots and buy them myself at the pharmacy (with a prescription from the doctor)! Because the doctor doesn't stock up on hepatitis shots as it's not mandatory/subsidized. Three shots for lifelong protection though, that's too good to pass up, imo. Smiley

This evening I cleaned the bathroom, changed my bedclothes, put some washing on, rearranged some furniture, tidied the fridge and food cupboards, did some vaccuming and dusting... then remembered I had paused a game to go to the toilet two hours earlier. Woops!

Anyone else find it slightly hilarious that one of our members, lackofselfcontrol, submitted Playboy: The Mansion to our database?

I don't. Just the transmission, and the lack of work hours.

You know you're not young any more when you go to look at a BMW M5 at a dealership and the salesman talks to you instead of your dad. I have a test drive booked for tomorrow. Cheesy The M5 is one of my top dream cars.

2006. It's a Japanese import and about 1.5 - 2 times the price of what you would pay in the UK.

I'm importing my Fury and dad might be getting a BMW 5 series for himself so if he was interested in an M5 (Or more likely an M5 touring) he could just stick one on a container with mine. He'd more likely go for something like a 535d.

I've always wanted an E39 M5 but the insurance before I was 25 was £8,000 per year. After I turned 25 it came down to £4,000. The cars are an affordable £8,000 but that means nothing if you waste £4k+ on insurance. I've had quote in New Zealand at £600 even with the car valued at £20,000.

I've also put a deposit on a new Fury chassis and I'm buying most of the body off someone else. I'll bring it all out with me when I ship my car over in January.
